Summary

Join Instructure's HR team as an HR Service Delivery Specialist and play a vital role in supporting employee lifecycle processes. You will act as a point of contact for global employees, providing excellent customer service and support for HR and payroll teams. Responsibilities include processing key employee lifecycle events, ensuring accuracy and consistency in global processes, and interpreting and applying HR policies. You will also support escalated questions and assist with HR-related needs across the company. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and collaboration. Success in this position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 1-2 years of experience in HR.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree / equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Have an understanding of the HR Hire to Retire business processes
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Knowledge of Excel/Word/Google Docs
  • All Instructure employees are required to successfully pass a background check upon being hired

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact and provide excellent customer service by answering requests and questions for global Instructure employees while partnering closely to support the HR and Payroll teams
  • Support the end-to-end processing of key employee lifecycle events including, but not limited to, New Hires, STD/Leave of Absences, Separations
  • Lead the way in both ensuring complete accuracy and driving consistency within the global employee lifecycle processes while establishing process improvements to optimize the experience
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and application of global HR policies, practices, and programs for high impact; advise and guide employees and managers in the effective application of all Human Resources programs
  • Support escalated questions from the HR Team related to policies, processes, employee programs and rewards such as benefits and payroll questions in compliance with all federal/state labor and related laws
  • Support the HR Team, Corporate Functions and Practices by assisting with HR-related needs. It is crucial that there is consistency in practices and analysis of trends
  • Placeholder for office duties as appropriate

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working in a case management system is a plus
  • Workday experience is a huge bonus
  • Self-starter and willing to jump in and help whenever and wherever needed
  • Be open & easy-going with the ability to collaborate
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
