Join Civitech, a public benefit corporation, as a Google Analytics and Data Reporting Consultant. You will play a vital role in optimizing Civitech’s analytics capabilities, ensuring accurate data reporting to better serve progressive causes and campaigns. This role involves auditing and optimizing GA4 properties and GTM containers, developing documentation, creating reports and dashboards, providing best practice recommendations, and leading training sessions. You will also consult on strategic metrics and deliver insights into client growth and retention. The position requires at least 5 years of relevant experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio. It's an independent contractor position offering a monthly base pay of $6,000–$8,000.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in analytics and data reporting, including expertise with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio
- Strong understanding of metrics design and reporting to align with business goals, particularly for SaaS products
- Proven ability to train and consult teams on analytics best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to document complex configurations clearly
- Comfortable working in a remote-first environment and collaborating across diverse teams
Responsibilities
- Audit and optimize Civitech’s Google Analytics 4 (GA4) properties, Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers, and underlying data infrastructure to improve data quality and reporting accuracy
- Develop comprehensive documentation of GA4 and GTM configurations, including events, parameters, conversions, and funnel tracking
- Create reports and Looker Studio dashboards tailored to Civitech’s goals
- Provide recommendations for best practices in tracking user engagement with Civitech products and aligning metrics with organizational goals
- Lead a 101-level training session, including a GA4 interface walkthrough with supporting materials
- Conduct up to four office hours sessions for ad-hoc analytics support and guidance
- Consult on strategic metrics, including Annual Contract Value (ACV), Lifetime Value (LTV), and client health indicators, such as user activity and engagement trends
- Deliver insights into client growth, retention, and market penetration, aiming for measurable outcomes like 1.9% market penetration by 2025
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data engineering or infrastructure to support analytics pipelines
- Familiarity with voter engagement tools and metrics is a plus
