Summary
The job is for a Graduate People Advisor to support the People team in driving change and providing functional expertise across various HR areas. Requirements
- Be a recent HR graduate
- Have previous experience within a fast-paced HR/people role
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring business demands are met
- Comfortable acting as a βgo-toβ person to help get things done
- Natural, confident, and clear communicator with experience liaising within technical and non-technical teams and across organizational boundaries
- Motivated by getting things done, and getting them done in the right way, first time
- Strong analytical and Excel skills and ability to create bespoke reports
- Experience of project management
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to use own initiative
- PC literate (all MS Office suite) and aptitude to pick up new software packages quickly
Responsibilities
- Assist in companywide performance management projects and play a significant role in the annual performance review cycle
- Assist in implementing a companywide succession plan, understanding what detail is required at the appropriate time
- Play a significant role in people engagement and employee relations across the group
- Coordinate and liaise with managers and staff and be able to coach, mentor, and advise as/when required
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements and plan delivery accordingly
- Assist in developing an in-house learning and development programme using various learning methods
- Provide key accurate people-related reports on a regular basis, including headcount, absence, and turnover across the group
- Track employee turnover and report on the reasons for peaks and troughs on a departmental basis
- Ensure the People system is accurate and any information is kept up to date to ensure effective data management
- Assist in the collation of information for payroll each month, liaising with the Payroll Manager, People Operations Lead, and other People Advisors as/when required
- Create new starter packs for new employees, ensuring accurate Terms & Conditions and new starter details are created
- Assist in the creation of induction plans and onboarding processes for new starters as required
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Tech and/or Hospitality industry would be an advantage
