Summary

Join AvantStay, a rapidly growing tech-enabled hospitality company, as a Performance Data Analyst. This fully remote, global role requires strong analytical and time management skills, focusing on optimizing active listings and ensuring data accuracy. You will collaborate with multiple teams, including Marketing, Listings, and Account Management, to enhance performance and visibility. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in data analysis and Google Sheets. This position offers flexible hours and the ability to work remotely, with a pay range of USD $8-14/hour based on experience and location. The role involves data collection and analysis, listing optimization, cross-team collaboration, and system reporting mastery.

Requirements

  • Be highly organized with exceptional time management and attention to detail
  • Possess strong analytical skills, with experience pulling and interpreting performance data
  • Be proficient in Google Sheets (including formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools)
  • Be comfortable learning and navigating internal systems and dashboards
  • Be able to work effectively independently while collaborating in a fast-paced, remote environment
  • Have availability to work Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours

Responsibilities

  • Pull, analyze, and interpret performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Track key metrics such as occupancy rates, revenue performance, and operational efficiency to provide actionable insights
  • Present data-driven recommendations to internal teams to optimize listing performance
  • Conduct regular listing audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to brand standards
  • Review and optimize titles, descriptions, amenities, and photos for consistency and competitiveness
  • Work with the Listings team to implement enhancements that improve ranking, engagement, and conversion rates
  • Work closely with Marketing, Listings, and Account Management teams to align listing optimization strategies with broader company goals
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders, including property owners and team members
  • Support process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
  • Learn and navigate internal property management systems (PMS) and distribution platforms
  • Create, maintain, and update reports using Google Sheets, Monday.com, and data dashboards to track performance
  • Develop automated tools and reporting mechanisms to improve data accessibility and decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience performing listing audits, quality assurance, or optimization for digital platforms
  • Possess strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Have experience in hospitality, vacation rentals, e-commerce, or data analysis
