Summary
Join MarketerHire's high-energy sales team as a Sales Representative and play a key role in introducing customers to our platform and connecting them with the best marketing resources. You will conduct discovery calls, close deals, and manage customer relationships from lead to contract. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service, and a self-motivated approach. The position involves researching leads, understanding their needs, and hitting monthly revenue targets. You will also collaborate with the team, track performance, and stay updated on industry trends. This is a remote position with flexible hours.
Requirements
- 4 or more years of experience in a direct sales role responsible for closing new business with the metrics to back it up
- Exposure to digital marketing either in a direct marketing role, working closely with a marketing team or selling for a company within the marketing/advertising space
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability and desire to discover pain points and help customers resolve them
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with an outstanding phone presence
- Entrepreneurial mindset and highly motivated, continuously striving for personal and professional improvement
- Positive, confident, and determined demeanor, capable of flourishing in a competitive environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills - able to adopt and work well in the various software and task management systems we provide
- Enthusiastic about helping your teammates, sharing your knowledge and learning from others
- Adapt at working in an environment where needs shift quickly and sometimes in unpredictable ways - possess the flexible demeanor that startup life demands
Responsibilities
- Research assigned leads to better connect with them, understand their needs, and identify critical business opportunities
- Conduct discovery calls with leads and determine client fit
- Close deals and hit monthly contracts/revenue targets
- Establish strong relationships with all prospective customers and own customer experience from lead-in to contract-signed and beyond
- Keep all deals up to date in HubSpot including logging and tracking all correspondence over email, phone, and text
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors
- Track your performance against team and individual goals and proactively collaborate with Sales Team Lead on how to improve performance as needed
- Be highly responsive to all internal and external communication in Slack and email
