Summary

Join CookUnity as a Growth Marketing Associate, Video Optimization and build and execute the video optimization strategy across various platforms. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in an SEO or digital marketing role focused on organic tactics
  • 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, or hands-on experience in YouTube/video marketing, or a related role with a strong focus on video optimization and strategy
  • Proven track record of growing video viewership and subscriber base in video platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, and social media (especially YouTube)
  • A deep understanding of algorithms and the latest technical advancements in the field of AI and video content
  • Strong knowledge of video optimization techniques, SEO, and content marketing
  • Experience working with video production teams and content creators to execute a cohesive video marketing strategy
  • High data IQ with a focus on driving conversions and revenue for DTC businesses
  • Experience using video analytics tools such as YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar
  • A great team player and fun to work with, a collaborative attitude and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions
  • Proactive and self-motivated with keen attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement video marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates
  • Lead the video optimization strategy across owned (website, app) and offsite (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) channels to increase awareness, engagement, subscriber growth, and retention
  • Develop and implement best-in-class SEO and video optimization practices to bolster CookUnity’s website visibility and organic video reach
  • Collaborate with our in-house creative team to direct highly engaging video content that resonates with our target audience
  • Create and execute a content calendar for video marketing, ensuring alignment with CookUnity’s overall marketing strategy and business goals
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize video thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and CTAs for maximum impact and discoverability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute effective video campaigns that align with overall marketing goals and initiatives
  • Lead and mentor a team of video producers and editors, providing guidance and feedback to help them create impactful and engaging content
  • Analyze and optimize video performance metrics, including watch time, engagement rate, and subscriber growth, using platforms like YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, and other relevant tools
  • Work closely with the social media and content teams to ensure video content is aligned with the overall brand messaging and tone
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI on video marketing initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video marketing, incorporating new techniques and technologies to improve campaign performance
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to source talent, equipment, and resources for video production
  • Take ownership of the CookUnity’s visibility and work with the brand team to maintain consistency in visual storytelling across all video content
