Summary

Join Airbnb's Growth Marketing team as a Growth Marketing Lead, Influencer Affiliates, and play a critical role in launching, scaling, and managing a new social and influencer marketing program. You will be responsible for end-to-end execution, from strategy alignment to performance evaluation against KPIs. Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure high-quality content and exceed aggressive KPI targets. This role requires both strategic and operational expertise, with hands-on work involved in implementing global program structures. You will manage influencer affiliate programming, develop compensation models, establish a framework for adapting global strategies to local markets, and collaborate with teams to source high-quality influencer prospects. The position involves developing editorial calendars, managing influencer relationships, executing campaigns, reporting results, and presenting updates to leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Growth Marketing and/or related functions within a consumer-facing, fast-paced ecommerce company, with broad expertise in digital marketing
  • A proven track record of scaling and managing an influencer marketing program for one or more large, global consumer brands
  • Deep knowledge and expertise in building and executing creative and innovative influencer strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Twitter/ X; strong familiarity with platform functionality and best practices
  • Curiosity about emerging trends and platforms worldwide; can spot opportunity and formulate clear testing plan
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with social, social listening and influencer management tools like Sprinklr and CreatorIQ
  • Experience working with teams in different regions and a high-level understanding of regional growth opportunities
  • Deep understanding of the technical aspects of growth marketing: marketing tech stack and data pipelines, tracking, testing, analytics, etc
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort interpreting results and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • A builder: ability to navigate ambiguous problems and processes and see the path forward
  • Strong fluency in financial metrics, with ability to create financial models and forecasts to drive analysis and go-forward business recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall influencer affiliate programming, including scaling US program while supporting local teams in 0 to 1 pilots worldwide
  • Developing partner compensation models and managing quarterly budgets to ensure program drives brand and business impact
  • Establish a framework and playbook for adapting the global strategy to local markets
  • Collaborate with Comms, agencies and local teams to source high-quality influencer prospects that meet pre-defined criteria, including identifying emerging creator talent for prospecting
  • In consultation with Comms and local country teams, develop editorial calendar and write corresponding marketing briefs for both evergreen and one-time influencer campaigns
  • Oversee a process to provide campaign briefs to influencers, review creative content, and manage influencer relationships
  • Execute flawlessly against a deployment schedule of campaigns; report on results and recommend next steps on scaling
  • Own project management and cross-functional program and campaign development workflow with dedicated Comms, Brand Marketing, Creative, Product and Engineering teams
  • Maintain strong relationships with Marketing Ops and Marketing Technology teams by having a deep understanding of our tech and tooling needs and working with operations to deliver solutions to fit unique needs
  • Own comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of all relevant program KPIs and influence the build of the right dashboards to track and socialize performance
  • Present updates, findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional partners through decks and in-person presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Should be extremely comfortable with Excel (functions, pivots, etc.); proficiency with writing and executing SQL queries is preferred
  • Additional experience in social media marketing, partnerships, business development, affiliate marketing and product management are all pluses
