Requirements
- Proven experience (7-10+ years) in brand marketing, with a leadership role at a high-growth startup or fast-paced organization
- Experience building a new consumer category and brand from scratch
- Deep understanding of brand-building principles and strategies, including digital and social media landscapes
- Track record of successfully developing and scaling brand strategies that drive business growth
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform marketing strategies and decisions
- A passion for innovation, creativity, and disruption in marketing
Responsibilities
- Help us design and execute a strategy to create the homeowner membership category, and position Mesa as the category leader
- Drive PR strategy and manage relationships with external partners, media, and influencers to amplify brand reach
- Own the visual look and feel of the Mesa brand across any touchpoint, ensuring it reinforces our brand identity and evolves over time
- Source and manage 3rd party agencies that serve to create the homeowner membership category
- Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the companyโs vision, goals, and target audience
- Build, mentor, and lead the brand marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability
- Define and refine the companyโs brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency and relevance across all touchpoints
- Oversee the creation of high-impact marketing campaigns, from concept to execution, across digital, social media, content, and experiential marketing
- Partner with product, partnerships, and other departments to ensure brand alignment and contribute to broader business goals
- Lead digital and social media strategies, ensuring our online presence is strong, engaging, and continuously optimized for growth
- Set clear goals and KPIs, monitor the effectiveness of brand initiatives, and iterate on strategies based on data-driven insights
Preferred Qualifications
