Head of Business Development

Summary

Phi Labs is seeking a Business Development Lead with 15 years of experience in business development, specifically within Europe/APAC, for a remote role focused on expanding Archway across Web3. The ideal candidate has strong understanding of the crypto market, DeFi, and traditional finance, and possesses good communication skills, a collaborative team spirit, problem-solving attitude, passion for innovation, self-starter mentality, high organizational skills, and great attention to detail.

Requirements

• Global work experience is required, specifically within Europe/APAC
• 15 years experience with a focus on business development
• 3+ yrs crypto experience
• Demonstrated experience in leading sales teams and developing market strategies
• Strong understanding of the crypto market, DeFi, and traditional finance
• Experience working with commercial agreements, including creating and negotiating agreements outside of standard sales contracts
• Experience developing and closing partner opportunities globally
• A deep and relevant network including industry leaders and executives
• Thorough knowledge of the current DeFi, NFT-fi, GameFi, etc landscapes in the on-chain ecosystem

Responsibilities

Expand Archway across Web3 and work closely with the team to bring users, teams, capital providers/funds, exchanges, wallets, infrastructure providers, and novel primitives to the Archway ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity or keen interest in Rust and CosmWasm for smart contract development
• Good communication skills + strong english skills
• Collaborative team spirit
• Problem-solving attitude and passion for innovation
• Be a self-starter and able to work independently
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
