Requirements
- Proven experience in collections or a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to build our collection process
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends to drive improvements in the collections process
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to collections
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in using collection management systems and software
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead on our collections efforts
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the collections process and improve cash flow
- Monitor outstanding payments and proactively contact customers to resolve any issues or disputes
- Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers and maintain accurate collection records
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address root causes of payment delays or disputes
- Prepare and present collection reports to management, highlighting trends and recommendations
