Head of Collections

Summary

Join SAPI as a Collections Lead to oversee collections process, develop strategies, and maintain positive relationships with customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in collections or a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry
• Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to build our collection process
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends to drive improvements in the collections process
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to collections
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in using collection management systems and software
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead on our collections efforts
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize the collections process and improve cash flow
• Monitor outstanding payments and proactively contact customers to resolve any issues or disputes
• Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers and maintain accurate collection records
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address root causes of payment delays or disputes
• Prepare and present collection reports to management, highlighting trends and recommendations
