Summary

The job is for a Head of Data at Immutable, a fast-growing Australian tech company specializing in NFTs on Ethereum. The role involves building a data-driven culture, managing a team, staying updated with data science trends, collaborating with various teams, and developing predictive models.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master in a quantitative field (e.g. Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Science, Econometrics)
• 2+ years managing a team with 8+ years of industry technical experience
• Experience with Python, SQL + cloud-based data stack (GCP, AWS Azure etc.) + BI tools
• Management experience in small or medium-sized growth tech companies
• Experience hiring/growing/building a world-class team
• Solid grasp of standard statistical methods and applications (A/B testing, time series analysis, forecasting and regression)
• Strong statistical background
• The ability to communicate and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration
• Great understanding of data privacy regulation
• Product analytics experience (ideally new tech or eCommerce)
• Growth analytics experience ( i.e B2C, paid marketing, attribution, mixed media modelling)
• Experience supporting 7 figure user acquisition budgets and achieving profitability
• Expertise in event instrumentation
• Experience working with leadership to define and measure KPIs and other operating metrics

Preferred Qualifications

• Game or Product marketing expertise
• Web 3 knowledge or interest
• A/B testing and experimentation
• Monetisation design experience
• Experience with an ML framework (e.g. PyTorch, tensor flow, sci-kit-learn)
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Hadoop)
• Experience with Looker
