Head of Design

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of overall product design experience
• 2+ years of team leading experience
• Proven experience in UX/UX research and design usability testing
• Proven experience in client collaboration in B2B environment
• You are great in building design processes
• You can easily find design solutions for new environments (e.g. our client's interface)
• You can distinguish between assumptions and knowledge and are willing to pivot and iterate on everything
• Skilled in MVPs — you know how to take a big idea and break it down to go with fast iterations and find PMF
• You're proficient in documentation and you see the value in it
• You're great in communication e.g. with clients or internal stakeholders
• You're a strong team manager
• Robust communication skills — you are used to working with diverse international teams in a fast-paced environment
• You have an organized, independent & efficient working style
• You are fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Own everything design-related in Monite with the focus on product design
• Lead design team and establish clear design priorities across the company together with CEO, Head of Product, Head of Marketing and CS Lead
• Develop and maintain design process for internal products
• Develop and maintain design process for customer implementations
• Support collaboration with clients together with CS team, UX-research and enable the team on building well-tested designs
• Hire, develop and manage the design team
• Lead Monite's brand development together with CEO
• Lead key client implementations from a design perspective
