Summary

Join Goodnotes, a company reimagining human-AI interaction, as the Head of Marketing. Lead the marketing function, driving business growth and impact across B2C and B2B. Generate bold, creative campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Translate insights into action, guiding messaging and marketing priorities. Build and grow a high-performing marketing team, coaching and collaborating effectively. Work directly with the founder and leadership team to execute marketing plans. Oversee key domains including Creative Studio, Local Marketing, Social Media, Influencer Marketing, Brand Strategy & Marketing, Public Relations, and Product Marketing. This role requires a strategic leader and hands-on executor who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience across brand and/or product marketing (ideally both) in a fast-paced tech environment with demonstrated business impact
  • Direct experience spanning both B2B and B2C SaaS, ideally with a range of go-to-market motions
  • Proven ability to deliver results through creative campaigns and go-to-market plans, both as an individual contributor and as a team lead
  • Demonstrated team leadership experience, from setting direction to active partnering on effective execution, with a track record of enabling teams to deliver against ambitious goals
  • Comfort working across a broad range of target audiences, with a strong grasp of how to tailor messaging and channels accordingly
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without relying on formal authority
  • Strong creative judgment and attention to quality, balanced with the ability to move quickly and pragmatically
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and evolving priorities while keeping execution grounded, focused, and on-track

Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing function to deliver on our fast-growing product portfolio and positioning with new audiences across B2C and B2Bβ€”driving business growth and impact
  • Generate bold, creative ideas and bring them to life through ambitious campaigns that resonate at scale, shape narratives, and drive meaningful results
  • Work cross-functionally with all members of our marketing team, including growth marketers and local marketers, to enable their work, align efforts, and maximize success
  • Source and synthesize user, product, and market insights to guide messaging, audience understanding, and marketing priorities
  • Build and grow a high-performing team: Enable marketers and creatives to do their best work through coaching, collaboration, and clear direction
  • Collaborate closely with leadership team: Work directly with our founder and leadership team to shape and execute marketing plans that bring their vision to life
  • Lead the in-house creative team to deliver high-quality, innovative assets that elevate our brand across all channels
  • Develop and execute tailored marketing strategies and build strong partnerships with local partners (eg. brands, influencers) to maximize our relevance and impact
  • Oversee the social media strategy and execution, growing our presence, engagement, and community across major platforms
  • Build and manage our growing community of influencers and advocates to amplify our reach and credibility
  • Define and evolve the overarching brand strategy and shape and implement brand marketing initiatives to strengthen our identity and market position
  • Lead PR efforts to secure prominent media coverage and communicate our vision and celebrate our achievements
  • Drive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, translating technical features into compelling user value propositions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing AI/ML-powered products or features
  • Experience partnering with product and data to uncover insights, run experiments, and connect findings to meaningful marketing work
  • Experience supporting regional or global marketing efforts in a matrixed organization
