Summary

Join the Wormhole Foundation as their Head of Marketing and lead all aspects of marketing the Wormhole ecosystem. You will lead the marketing team, develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive adoption and growth of multichain products, and report to the Co-Founder. Responsibilities include creating compelling narratives, overseeing multi-channel marketing campaigns, collaborating with other teams, managing relationships with external agencies, analyzing market trends, establishing KPIs, managing the marketing budget, and acting as a brand ambassador. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role, a proven track record in Web3 and traditional sectors, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Strong leadership, data-driven mindset, adaptability, and a strong network within the finance and crypto communities are also essential. Location preference is in the Americas or European time zones.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies in both Web3 and traditional sectors
  • You have excellent communication skills and have experience of developing effective working relationships at senior levels across all functions
  • Highly motivated, creative, and results-driven self-starter with a passion for crypto
  • Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, and the broader fintech landscape
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in marketing analytics and performance measurement
  • Adaptability and agility to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry
  • Strong network within the finance and crypto communities

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with ecosystem-wide goals and industry trends
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, and collaboration
  • Create compelling narratives that effectively communicate our value proposition to a diverse institutional and retail base
  • Oversee the development of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, content, event, and PR initiatives and align efforts with performance marketing plans
  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, and business development teams to ensure marketing efforts support overall business objectives
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and partners to maximize marketing impact and efficiency
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and campaign performance to continuously refine marketing strategies
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources
  • Act as a thought leader and brand ambassador, representing the company at industry events and in media engagements
  • Other duties as assigned
