You will spearhead impactful campaigns targeting developers (especially those in EVM) and retail users, championing a data-driven, user-first approach. Responsibilities include leading resource planning, crafting product messaging, implementing communications strategies, and collaborating on content creation. Success hinges on fostering relationships with key journalists and aligning marketing with community initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven marketing leadership, web3/blockchain product launch experience, and a deep understanding of blockchain technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in marketing leadership, with a strong track record in product marketing and branding
- Experience launching products in web3 or blockchain as a product marketer
- Deep understanding of blockchain technologies, with experience in DeFi, privacy, and Web3 ecosystems
- Expertise in team management, resource allocation, and budget planning
- Strong proficiency in social media strategy, content creation, and PR
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Data-driven mindset, with experience in SEO, inbound marketing, and customer acquisition
- A passion for the blockchain ecosystem, with an eagerness to stay updated on industry trends
Responsibilities
- Lead resource planning, budgeting, and team management for the marketing department, ensuring that initiatives align with Oasisβ strategic goals
- Own the product messaging, clearly articulating value propositions for different customer segments and personas. You will lead product launches and develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies to increase product awareness and usage
- Craft and implement a consistent communications strategy across all touchpoints, ensuring a unified voice across diverse audiences. Manage the communications circle to deliver high-quality, impactful campaigns
- Collaborate on content strategies to drive inbound marketing campaigns, using a data-driven SEO/GEO strategy. Help create and execute a content strategy for international markets, with a focus on both anglophone and Asian regions
- Foster relationships with key journalists in the blockchain, DeFi, privacy, gaming, DAO governance, and AI industries. Oversee the creation of op-eds and collaborate with PR agencies to boost Oasisβ visibility across tier 1 and 2 publications
- Work alongside the Growth and Community teams to ensure marketing campaigns are well aligned with community initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize engagement
- Partner with the Engineering, BD, and Operations teams to gather user feedback, refine messaging, and enhance adoption across Oasis products
- Lead initiatives on workflow optimization, fostering an AI-first marketing culture. Continuously experiment with new approaches to improve team productivity and marketing effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in international marketing and developing strategies for diverse markets
- Familiarity with AI tools and data-driven marketing automation
- Exposure to public speaking or hosting workshops in a professional setting
- An understanding of the blockchain developer community and the needs of both EVM developers and retail users
