Join Hitachi Digital's Global Marketing and Sales (GM&S) team as the Head of Marketing Communications, a high-profile role at the heart of the Hitachi Group. Your mission is to connect customers with Hitachi's value and motivate internal teams through compelling marketing communication programs. You will own the global marketing strategy, shaping how Hitachi business units engage with customers. You'll build and lead a high-performing, data-driven team, driving marketing operations at scale and collaborating with other functions. Your work directly impacts the company's growth in key markets and contributes to sustainability solutions. This role offers the chance to be a key driver of corporate change, influencing internal and external communication across the entire Hitachi Group. Requirements

  • 15+ years' experience in global business marketing/communication roles
  • A proven track record in strategic communications, B2B growth marketing, corporate change management, stakeholder engagement, and internal communication disciplines
  • Experience in building, motivating, and leading high performing global marketing teams
  • The ability to influence and build relationships at the highest level
  • Be a proactive driver of improvement, anticipating issues, setting priorities, and achieving results
  • Programme Management expertise – demonstrable experience of successfully delivering global marketing programmes
  • Cultural sensitivity and openness to work in an international business environment
  • A strong commercial mindset

Responsibilities

  • Devise marketing and internal communication strategy to power successful Hitachi customer engagement
  • Onboard high-performing team, maximizing Hitachi talent mobility
  • Embed customer-first mindset starting with market insight and the customer voice
  • Oversee program delivery in close collaboration with sales and GM&S leadership
  • Establish clear function KPIs and provide regular, actionable reporting and insight
  • Lead regular cadence of program review, adjustment and development
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and ethics
