Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sales management
  • Knowledge of distributors will be an added advantage!
  • Experience in key account management, preferably combined with field force management and trade marketing
  • Very strong work ethic
  • Open minded with a solution-oriented attitude
  • Stress resistance in a rapidly changing environment
  • A results-oriented and motivated individual with a constant drive to achieve goals
  • Experience in a cluster or regional environment
  • Excellent sales, negotiation and communication skills
  • Fluent English

Responsibilities

  • Generating new leads/developing the customer base
  • Managing the distributor selection process – negotiations/agreements/internal quotation process
  • Analyzing territory potential, tracking sales and status reports
  • Defining annual and long term plans and budget with distributors, including monthly performance management
  • Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies across retail and HoReCa channels
  • Reviewing distributors’ business performance at monthly growth meetings in line with established KPIs
  • Securing necessary investments to meet business objectives
  • Maximizing retail and HoReCa reach and penetration
  • Optimizing portfolio, placement, pricing and promotions in collaboration with distributors and support functions
  • Coordinating the availability of accurate and up-to-date demand plans
  • Order management – forecasting/ pricing/availability
