Summary
Join Shift Technology, a leading AI-powered insurance solutions provider, as the Head of Solutions Consulting for the Americas. This key leadership role involves building and leading a high-performing team of Solutions Consultants, collaborating with sales, product, data science, and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of SaaS solutions for clients. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep insurance and SaaS expertise, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Consulting, Pre-Sales, or customer-facing role, with at least 4 years in a leadership role at a global SaaS or technology company
- 4+ years experience and expertise in Insurance (eg. Claims, Fraud, Underwriting)
- Experience working closely with sales teams to create value propositions, handle RFPs, and deliver solution demonstrations
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, and a strong understanding of sales tech stack
- Strong technical knowledge of SaaS products and/or the Insurance industry
- Understanding of and ability to explain the use of analytics, machine learning models and GenAI in the insurance claims, fraud and UW context
- Outstanding communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership, global, cross-functional teams, and customers at all levels
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A customer-centric mindset with a passion for driving successful outcomes for clients
- Bachelorโs degree in Business, Computer Science/MIS/BIS, or a related field or equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Solutions Consulting team that supports company goals and growth
- Drive the pre-sales process by providing technical expertise and demonstrating the value of our solutions to prospects
- Own the continuous improvement of pre-sales processes, methodologies, strategies, and tools with a focus on scalability, consistency, and productivity
- Lead the development of solution proposals, business cases, and ROI models, ensuring clear and actionable recommendations for customers
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to understand clients' business needs, challenges, and strategic goals
- Oversee the design and delivery of tailored solutions that address the specific needs of each client while ensuring alignment with our product offering
- Serve as the point of escalation for complex customer issues or requirements
- Establish, monitor, and analyze KPIs, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities that drive revenue growth
- Identify opportunities to streamline consulting processes, improving efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness
- Continuously evaluate and improve the teamโs structure and approach to customer engagement, solution design, and delivery
- Work closely with the Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to stay ahead of product updates, new features, and enhancements, ensuring that the Solutions Consulting team is equipped to advise clients effectively
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop content and resources that highlight the capabilities of our platform and improve sales and customer success engagements
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, providing feedback and insights to product and engineering teams to drive product improvements
- Develop, coach and mentor your team with a focus on continuous learning and customer-centric problem solving
- Create a team environment where high quality work, personal accountability, resilience, #MakeItHappen attitude, and collaboration are expected
- Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and support team members in achieving their goals
- Ensure the team maintains a high level of technical expertise and stays up to date with industry trends and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or other advanced degree preferred
