The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with expertise in managing the 'hard side' of HR and experience in the gaming or entertainment industry. This is a remote position requiring excellent time management and collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of HR experience, including experience in the gaming, entertainment, or creative industries
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, payroll systems, and performance management tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, creative environments
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Efficient time-management and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage employee and contractor agreements, including NDAs, ensuring legal compliance and proper documentation
  • Oversee and approve payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local laws and regulations
  • Evaluate and implement payroll platforms, ensuring seamless transitions during migrations and smooth integrations with HR systems
  • Handle technical integrations, plug-ins, and updates within HR and payroll systems to maintain optimal functionality
  • Develop and maintain systems for tracking contractor performance and providing continuous feedback to support their growth
  • Serve as the go-to point of contact for HR-related queries, ensuring policies and processes are well-communicated and adhered to
  • Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies to meet organizational needs
  • Collaborate with teams to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, fostering an inclusive workplace

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelorโ€™s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
