Summary
Join Cologix as our Human Resources Coordinator and contribute to a leading network-neutral interconnection and hyperscale edge data center company. You will manage employee onboarding and offboarding, develop communications, and coordinate benefits, compensation, and learning and development. This role requires strong customer service skills to provide information and guidance to employees. You will be the primary administrator for Dayforce HCM and support the HR team with employee data management. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, 2-4 years of HR experience, and a strong understanding of HR principles and regulations. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-4 yearsโ experience in Human Resources, preferably in a Coordinator or similar role
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations for both Canada and the USA
- Previous experience working with Dayforce; onboarding / offboarding and benefits administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to be proactive, multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Responsibilities
- Primary administrator for Dayforce HCM
- Assist with new hire orientation and the onboarding process
- Key liaison for benefits administration
- Provide support to the HR team with input and administration of employee data including new hires, terminations, status changes, transfers, leaves, and changes in positions
- Provide support to employees on HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on policies, benefits, and procedures
- Prepare new employee files and maintain HR databases and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Stay informed about employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all HR practices
- Support HR projects and initiatives as required
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
- Files documents into appropriate employee files
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to learn and apply new concepts and systems / tools quickly
