Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • At least two years of related experience is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently to establish priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee health and welfare plans, act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers, including managing enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
  • Reconciles benefits statements
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions
  • Assists with onboarding, offer negotiations, recruitment, and processing of terminations
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the director of HR
  • This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, and other related duties as assigned
