Summary

Join SpyCloud as an HR Generalist and play a critical role in delivering a seamless employee experience. You will own HR systems, processes, and policies, supporting the team from onboarding to offboarding. Manage employee lifecycle processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution of new hires, promotions, terminations, and changes. Partner with the Accounting team for payroll processing and own day-to-day benefits administration. Collaborate with the HR team on initiatives aligned with business strategy, and create and roll out new policies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual skilled at building strong working relationships and ready to take ownership of daily operations. Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in payroll and benefits administration experience in a growing, multi-state organization
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Experience with Human Resources metrics; Excel acumen a plus!
  • Knowledge of HR systems. Experience with implementation of new HRIS/Payroll a plus
  • Knowledge of labor law and related legislation and considerations
  • Great at building and managing interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • Strong communication skills, whether written, verbal, or visual to create great policy documentation, training, and regular employee communications
  • An appetite to try new things. You’re curious, and are excited to improve your process, and always looking to learn. You ask questions and don't shy away from challenges

Responsibilities

  • Own HR systems (including HRIS and benefits administration platforms) and the integrity of the data, manage system functionality and provide support to users, providing user training as needed
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes by ensuring timely and accurate execution of new hires, promotions, terminations, and changes. Prepare proper documentation for each phase
  • Execute Day 1 employee onboarding including but not limited to presentation session and I-9 verification
  • Partner with the Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Own day-to-day benefits administration
  • Assist in the annual analysis and selection of benefits plans
  • Review invoices for accuracy. Assist with our 401(k) plan including communication to participants and annual non-discrimination test
  • Oversee and advise on compliance and related reporting requirements for federal, state, and local employee and HR benefits and programs
  • Collaborate with the HR Team to develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with business strategy including training, employee development, employee satisfaction, and company culture
  • Create and roll out new policies, partnering with the GC (General Counsel) as needed
  • Update the U.S. and U.K. employee handbooks on an annual basis
  • Assist with and oversee the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR policies and best practices and ensure compliance in different locations

Preferred Qualifications

SHRM certification, PHR certification, or a degree in a Human Resources related function
