Summary
Join Sporty's People & Talent department as an HR Lead and play a crucial role in supporting employees and fostering a positive work environment in Bulgaria. This role involves managing the employee lifecycle, identifying HR needs, developing strategies, managing reports, supporting hiring managers, and acting as a point of contact for employees. You will collaborate with the international HR team, improve processes, manage employee relations, and build a strong employer brand. Additionally, you will oversee payroll, organize team-building activities, and handle other HR-related duties. The position requires a proactive, positive attitude and a solutions-driven mindset.
Requirements
- Degree in HR or psychology is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an HR Manager, HR Specialist, or HR Generalist
- Strong knowledge of Bulgarian labour laws & regulations
- Should be able to work independently and take end-to-end accountability for employee lifecycle
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Effective stakeholder management, relationship-building, and consulting expertise
Responsibilities
- Take care of employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement projects, documentation and communication with employees and introducing talent retention ideas and policies in line with company processes
- Identify and assess the HR needs of the business, and develop and implement strategies to meet those needs
- Manage and share employee reports with the team and stakeholders on a regular basis
- Support Hiring managers as per business requirements
- Act as a point of contact and support for employees on HR-related matters such as policies, benefits i.e. Food Vouchers, Sports cards, additional health insurance and grievances etc
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and systems driving efficiency, and effectiveness across the departments etc
- Manage employee relations and ensure a positive work environment for all employees
- Create a strong employer brand image for the organization
- Oversee payroll activities and work with external payroll providers as well as communicate with various 3rd parties including lawyers, occupational health etc
- Organize team building initiatives / activities such as Christmas parties, quarterly team buildings and competitions etc
- Be responsible for any other HR related duties deemed necessary for the role and business
