Requirements
- Fluent both in English and French
- At least 10 years of professional experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a management position

Responsibilities
- Support your team (3 people operations specialists and 1 Workplace manager) throughout their employee journey (onboarding, day-to-day management, career development)
- Communicate the company vision and drive engagement for your team
- Embody and deliver the People Ops team vision & mission and integrate them in day-to-day routines: you are responsible for the Ops Roadmap
- Frame the team’s job, set and share the rules, prioritize, handle the workload and delegate appropriately, in order to secure a positive work environment for your team, as well as targets delivery
- Create career development opportunities for your team and coach individuals towards success
- Audit existing processes and propose an HR operations roadmap to support business challenges and optimize employee satisfaction
- Embody the HR Operations department internally and help managers develop their skills in this area of expertise. Create awareness around the subject of employee experience and Employee Value Proposition
- Pull out and analyse People-related data : for legal reporting purposes (CSE, BDES, Gender parity index, etc.) but also for driving data-driven decision making processes (ie. influence projects prioritization or detect areas for improvement)
- Deploy our first compensation & benefits program with our HR Development Manager : salary grid, tooling, process, automatization, internationalization…
- Be responsible for internationalization ops strategy (opening up new countries, setting up providers Ops…)
- Create the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project
- Be responsible for the administrative management of the training program (invoicing and agreements, collaborator registration and attendance certificates, relations with the OPCO…)
- Deliver high-end HR systems management, supporting our employees from the day they’re hired to the day they leave. This includes managing payroll and benefits, parental leave, HR compliance, reviews tracking tools and accounts, and relationships with external providers
- Secure the best (ie. swift and accurate) employee experience for any employee day-to-day HR queries and requests
- Build and nurture strong collaboration with the People Partners to secure a smooth application of People Ops processes
- Be responsible for the entire HR tools stack: Maintenance and optimization of existing tools, Implementation of new tools as required and in collaboration with the various HR teams, GDPR HR point of contact
- Organize, facilitate and lead employee relation activities to nurture a peaceful and collaborative social climate with employee representatives with the VP People
- Run regular legal watch to maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations
- Make sure documentation is in order and available to stakeholders
- Support L1 legal advisory and contribute to further advising, in partnership with our attorneys
- Be in charge of our EVP strategy (employee value proposition)
- Be responsible for maintaining our Head Quarter (We Work) and ensuring employee satisfaction with the various services offered
- Be a driving force behind the improvement of office-related projects
- Design the internal events strategy (onsite and remote) with the workplace manager
- Propose a full remote experience (60% of our workforce)
- Manage and grow a team of 4 people
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding administrative support
- Ensure first level of support to Pennylane employees
- Closely work with other People teams and design processes to ensure smooth collaboration
- Automate and streamline processes leveraging our current tools (mostly Lucca, Figures, Reflect…)
- Ensure we are compliant in all the international regions
- Prepare ad-hoc reports as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- To speak English (level is assessed and appreciated according to the department you’re applying to)
- To be energized by an ever-shifting work environment
- To be highly collaborative (within your team or other stakeholders)
- Sufficiently experienced to prioritize business-led actions on your day to day activity
