Requirements

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices and the administrative practices related to those factors
  • Understand, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of internal policies/practices and employment regulations

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with management and employees to support healthy work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention
  • Manage people program delivery and related systems implementation (including training content creation and delivery)
  • Manage and resolves complex employee relations issues
  • Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, corrective actions)
  • Furnish HR policy guidance and interpretation, while contributing to policy development in partnership with legal counsel
  • Build/define programs and practices from the ground up (we’re a growth stage company)
  • Remain objective and advisory when working through legally sensitive & high-tension subject matter

Benefits

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000
