Summary

The position is primarily remote with monthly in-office meetings and occasional travel. Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as Associate/Junior Generalist or Generalist required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience using HRIS system required
  • Must be computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Exude excellent employee and candidate relationship building skills
  • Must be agile, fast-paced, and innovative
  • Must have a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Support managers and employees as their general point of contact on all matters including but not limited to: General benefits knowledge
  • Employee relations full-service support including being present for and/or conducting disciplinary conversations, investigations, and terminations as needed
  • HRIS support and information management
  • Compliance related activities such as ensuring ongoing regulations and certifications are met
  • Recruitment support when needed
  • Coordination of any employee leaves in conjunction with HR leaders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legislation and company policies
  • Staying aware of any employment and case law that may directly impact the regional supported
  • Provide high-level customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Regularly review compensation to ensure FLSA compliance
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
  • Review and create internal policies and procedures to ensure smooth and thorough best practices
  • Working knowledge and application of HIPAA & OSHA compliance
  • Assisting with other HR projects and initiatives as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4-5 years’ experience in the Human Resources field preferred
  • Healthcare recruitment experience highly preferred
  • UKG by Ultimate Software preferred
  • Experience using an ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Greenhouse preferred
