Summary
The job is for an Implementation Engineer in a fast-growing Silicon Valley software startup, Pulsora. The role involves configuring the Pulsora platform according to customer requirements, integrating it with other systems, testing, demonstrating, and collaborating cross-functionally.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on customer implementation experience on SaaS applications
- Experience working with a global team, including the ability and willingness to work outside of regular business hours with Pulsora’s offshore team in India
- 5+ years hands-on technical experience in the following areas: Database/SQL, Use Postman to call APIs, Write utilities and scripts using Python/Java
- Able to provide after hours, on-call, and escalation support for Pulsora customers
- Fluent in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills
- A self-starter who takes ownership of opportunities and works well independently, manages multiple simultaneous projects, and deals well with ambiguity and last-minute changes
- Ability to balance multiple priorities, meeting specific deadlines utilizing strong organizational skills
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree is a plus
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer implementation requirements to come up with the detailed tasks and estimate the efforts
- Configure the Polsora platform using product UI
- Configure the Polsora platform using backend configurations including database changes, API-based configurations, etc
- Integrate the Pulsora platform with customers’ systems, e.g. ERP, HR, procurement, etc
- Integrate and test the Pulsora platform with customers’ SSO providers, e.g. Active Directory, Okta, etc
- Test the Polsora platform to ensure the customer requirements are implemented
- Demo the configured Pulsora platform to show it meets customer requirements
- Collaborate cross functionally with business engagement, product, engineering, and other teams, including an offshore team in India daily
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SSO integrations with Active Directory, Okta are a plus
- Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Integration data formats, e.g. JSON, XML, CSV, etc
- Troubleshoot problems by using the browser developer tools, by accessing log files, etc
- Apache Airflow, petl, Bonobo, Bubbles, etc. and experience configuring ETL processes are a plus
- Apache Superset, Tableau, or Power BI, etc. and experience configuring analytics dashboards are a plus
