Implementation Manager

Summary

Join CoreWeave as an Implementation Manager to lead the establishment of processes and procedures for data center operations, with a focus on managing multiple projects simultaneously, vendor management, and continuous improvement. The role is remote, with preference for West Coast candidates. Base pay ranges from $90,000/year to $130,000/year depending on location.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementation or technical project management in data center operations or cloud computing
• Experience with high-performance compute environments and GPU technologies is a must
• Project Management Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects from initiation to completion. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Data Center Operations: In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems. Familiarity with data center best practices and industry standards
• Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Problem Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and propose innovative solutions. Strong decision-making and critical-thinking abilities
• Compliance and Security: Familiarity with data center compliance requirements, security protocols, and risk management practices
• Technical Aptitude: Solid understanding of GPU technologies, cloud computing concepts, and virtualization technologies. Proficiency in relevant scripting languages, such as Python or PowerShell, is a plus
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) are a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple fast pace projects simultaneously
• Data Center Infrastructure Management: Oversee the planning, deployment, and maintenance of data center infrastructure
• Manage customers expectations and drive vendors to complete their scope to meet the customers timelines
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of necessary equipment, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong working relationships
• Track project costs for multiple projects at one time
• Articulate your project concerns to the provider
• Hold meetings with your vendors and site on a weekly basis
• Track your projects and update stakeholders twice a week
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance data center operations
