Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise utility software, especially accounting systems
  • Strong understanding of financial processes within the utility sector, including billing, balancing, invoicing, and financial reporting
  • Experience with utility revenue management, customer processes, field service, asset management, and client training
  • Proven ability to map processes and manage large process mapping projects
  • Skilled in relational databases, particularly SQL and Reporting & Business Intelligence Platforms
  • Ability to train users on software applications and prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective presentation, and proven interpersonal skills
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with quick decision-making capabilities
  • Understanding of complex software implementation methodologies and organizational change management
  • Ability to deeply understand various utility industries such as electric, water, wastewater, gas, telecommunications, and sanitation

Responsibilities

  • Leading gap analysis sessions with customers
  • Evaluating existing business processes
  • Mapping to-be business processes
  • Configuring, testing and tuning the software
  • Mapping and assist with data conversions from legacy systems
  • Training end users
  • Providing support to the customer during acceptance testing, through Go Live and post-implementation stabilization
  • Work with development & dev-ops teams to influence, design, and validate solutions
  • Advise SpryPoint customers on the best use of the SpryPoint applications by way of business process analysis, communicating industry best practices and understanding the current and desired future states
  • Assist the Project Manager in the creation and review of project documentation
  • Assist the Sales team and partners with presales activities such as high-level gap analysis and product demonstrations as directed from time to time
