Summary

Instructure is hiring a remote or on-site Sales Development Representative (SDR) to introduce new clients to their learning platform. The SDR will be responsible for prospecting, managing a territory, providing regular forecasts, and meeting sales quotas. Required qualifications include 2+ years of B2B sales experience, proven ability to sell software products and services, and a Bachelor's Degree (preferred). Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 + years of proven sales experience in a B2B environment selling technology solutions
  • Consistently meet/exceed sales quotas within specified time frames
  • Experience selling software products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex enterprise software solutions and use that knowledge to sell to academic institutions

Responsibilities

  • Introduce Instructure Learning Platform to new clients through outbound contacting, trade shows, email campaigns, and response to inbound leads
  • Own and manage prospecting for a designated territory and create quarterly plans to achieve quotas
  • Provide regular, accurate forecasts and update lead status using Salesforce
