Summary

Join Ontic as an Instructional Designer to plan, design, develop, implement, and maintain engaging learning materials for sellers, success and services teams, partners, and clients. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify learning needs, create interactive instructional materials, evaluate effectiveness of learning programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field. Masterโ€™s degree preferred
  • 3 plus years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or related roles. Experience with learning management software and related tools is a must
  • Proficiency in instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
  • Experience with Enablement platforms (e.g. Seismic, Highspot, ShowPad)
  • Experience with technical writing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and the fluidity to adapt to shifts in priorities
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior levels

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess learning needs and identify performance gaps
  • Create interactive and engaging instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and multi-media content
  • Develop clear, engaging, and interactive content using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
  • Implement assessment tools and evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, testing, and performance metrics
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Communicate progress and address any issues that arise
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the learning solutions meet organizational needs and align with overall business goals
  • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions or provide support to facilitators as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of sales methodologies preferred
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)) are a plus
