Summary

Join Ultragenyx and play an important role in shaping the go-to-market strategy for a potential new treatment. As a member of the UX143 marketing team, you will actively participate in planning and executing advisory boards, gaining real-world experience in gathering insights from key opinion leaders and patients. This role involves developing strategic plans for advisory board meetings, collaborating with cross-functional teams, owning small projects related to advisory board follow-up, and presenting findings to the broader marketing team. The position offers a remote or flex work model and requires pursuing a relevant degree, strong working relationships with stakeholders, and excellent communication and organizational skills. Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in relevant field
  • Ability to form strong working relationships with diverse stakeholders across the development and scientific functions
  • Enrolled as a full-time student with plans to return to school in fall term
  • Available to work 40 hours/week during normal business hours
  • Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Good verbal communication skills: Ability to write clearly and effectively
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, reasoning, and problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Advisory Board Planning & Execution: Develop strategic plans for both HCP and patient advisory board meetings, working closely with cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Legal, Compliance, etc.) Contribute to the development of insight-generation plans to inform launch readiness
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Engage with marketing, commercial, medical, and insights teams to understand how advisory input is translated into launch plans
  • Project Ownership: Own a small project or workstream related to advisory board follow-up and improvementโ€”such as benchmarking competitor ad board strategies or developing a toolkit for future events
  • Present Learnings: Summarize your findings and learning outcomes to the broader marketing team in a final presentation at the end of the internship
