IT Automation Engineer, Powershell Engineer

Summary

Join Nexthink's Remote Actions team as a Senior Software Engineer to develop remote actions scripts that achieve customer needs in endpoint incident and problem management, data retrieval, and automation.

Requirements

• Have 5+ years of demonstrable experience working in scripting within large IT environments, handling endpoint/application management/system administration for Windows / macOS endpoints
• Good knowledge of PowerShell and Bash or Python, Jenkins
• Applying logging techniques and performing code reviews
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of our customers in terms of end-point incident and problem management, as well as data retrieval to better support their end-users
• Work on the development of remote actions: efficient and robust automation scripts that achieve the above needs
• Ensure the remote actions will run predictably on the systems of the millions of employees our customers have, running both Windows and macOS
• Ensure everything fits well into the overall context of the Nexthink platform
• Help the team to improve its best development practices
• Coordinate with the L3 support team for bug fixing
