Requirements

  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation for procedures and troubleshooting
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for staff seeking technical assistance
  • Triage issues and problems
  • Escalate issues to appropriate team member when necessary
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided while following established policies and procedures
  • Walk a customer through the problem-solving process
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in the ticketing system
  • Setup, maintain, and decommission hardware
  • Maintain accountability of inventory on site as well as inventory in use
  • Assist with account management operations (creation, modification, disabling accounts)
  • Performing software installation and operating system deployment
  • Ability to lift or move boxes up to 50 pounds around the office
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to IT compliance processes and controls
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT compliance policies, procedures, and trackers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computer hardware repair skills, a plus
  • Ticketing system or workflow management system experience, a plus
