Summary

Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure
- Experience managing IT operations for growing companies
- Experience within a globally distributed team and managing IT operations across geographies
- Experience supporting a range of computer hardware and software, including having managed a variety of SaaS licenses
- Experience with IT security, including monitoring activity and implementing security measures
- Strong communication skills, and comfort partnering with C-level executives
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily IT operations including server hardware, software, operating systems, and 3rd party services
- Serve as the IT stakeholder in the selection and purchasing of new 3rd party services by other departments
- Manage and participate in IT projects. Current projects include the migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace, a server hardware renewal project, and the migration to a new Identity Management solution
- Procure computers and equipment for new hires, and provision applications as needed for new hires and existing employees
- Own IT onboarding and offboarding for all US employees, working with our People Operations team to identify processes that can be automated and/or streamlined
- Provide end-user support for internal employees, thoroughly answering IT questions and solving IT issues
- Evaluate technology risks and develop a disaster recovery plan and backup procedures
- Implement and manage security measures to prevent data leaks and breaches including monitoring user, systems, and network activities for suspicious activities
- Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance globally
- Ensure all computers and in-office equipment are in good working order, including employee equipment, servers, and conference room equipment, purchasing any replacements as needed
- Test, troubleshoot, and modify information processes and systems so that they operate effectively
- Ensure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of policies, applicable laws, codes, and regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in IT management, such as ITIL, are a plus
