Summary
Join Brightspeed's growing team as an IT Manager, Consumer and Business Order Fulfillment! Lead and transform order provisioning and activation platforms. As a seasoned technology leader, you'll reimagine the customer order provisioning process across its lifecycle. You'll design technology solutions, collaborate with various teams, and build high-performing teams. This role requires extensive experience in software engineering and telecom, with a focus on building scalable, distributed systems. Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 6 years of leadership experience
- BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience leading software development lifecycle including concept, design, prototyping, integration, testing, and production release
- Experience working in Telecom Inventory and Provisioning business domain including FTTP
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to prioritize the key business programs by collaborating with business partners
- Experience implementing telecom products and services such as Voice/VOIP, Broadband services
- Experience implementing BPM/Workflow/Orchestration tools
- Experience leveraging event driven patterns to design asynchronous distributed platforms using micro-services architecture
- Deep technical background building scalable solutions to support complex business processes
- Passionate about architecture, robust design practices, efficient engineering execution and delivering operational excellence
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and transform our order provisioning and activation platforms
- Design technology solutions for complex business problems
- Influence, negotiate, build consensus, and align with peer engineering, product, business teams and vendor partners on solutioning and implementation
- Operate in a fast-paced environment with laser focus on delivering results
- Build and motivate high performance teams, foster inclusive environment
- Be self-driven, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multiple clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional projects
- Provide industry knowledge, experience, and best practices to help the team stay ahead of the curve in keeping our technology stack cutting edge
- Train operations teams to handle order provisioning fallouts
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Billing systems in telecom domain
- Integration experience with Salesforce modules and Billing applications such as CABS (Carrier Access Billing System)
- Experience with integration of applications and data during Telecom divestiture
