Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Possess 4+ years of experience as an MES Engineer or in troubleshooting MES issues
- Have experience in the Automotive Industry or discrete manufacturing industry
- Be proficient in troubleshooting MES-related technical or business processual issues and performing detailed diagnostics
- Have knowledge of underlying infrastructure like Windows Server and Networking
- Possess a basic understanding of Webservers and Web-technology
- Have proven experience in MES
- Be fluent in English
- Possess excellent communication skills and customer orientation
- Possess intercultural competencies
- Have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Be able to prioritize tasks based on business need and business impact
- Possess attention to detail and an analytical mindset
Responsibilities
- Help operating our 11 HYDRA (MES) instances around the globe on technical and business process level
- Monitor our MES systems proactively to identify potential issues, performance bottlenecks, and areas for optimization
- Conduct regular health checks and system audits to ensure optimal system performance and reliability
- Coordinate maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and system upgrades with internal and external stakeholders to keep MES systems up-to-date and secure
- Manage configuration changes to MES business processes in accordance with established change management processes
- Provide technical and business process support and guidance to MES users, including troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and providing training on functionalities and best practices
- Collaborate with end-users to understand their needs and requirements and closely work with the solution architect to provide solutions accordingly
- Participate in rollout projects to establish our HYDRA solution in new production sites around the world
