IT Procurement Internship

Summary

Acolad is seeking an IT Procurement intern to join their team for an IEFP internship based in Paço de Arcos. The intern will assist with procurement of IT hardware, software, and services, conduct market research, prepare and administer RFPs/RFQs, manage supplier relationships, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Information Technology
• Excellent communication skills and a proficient level of English
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist in the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services
• Support the preparation and administration of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs)
• Maintain and update procurement records, databases, and documentation
• Help manage supplier relationships, including communication, negotiation, and performance evaluation
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand their IT needs and requirements
• Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for IT procurement projects
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement activities
