Junior Accountant

Summary

Join Cabin, a tech-powered online accounting and corporate secretarial firm, as a full-time freelance contractor. Work remotely from anywhere, handling full-set accounts for SME clients, accounts payables, payroll, and simple annual bookkeeping/reporting. We seek a Degree/Diploma holder in Accounting or Finance with at least two years of experience. Proficiency in English is required, and experience with Xero/Dext software is a plus. A competitive salary (RM4,000-RM6,000) is offered, along with a company laptop and mobile phone, and reimbursement for work-related travel expenses.

Requirements

• Possess a Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Have at least 2 years of experience
• Be able to communicate well in English (both spoken and written)
• Pay attention to details and be meticulous in your work
• Be able to work independently to achieve clear outcomes

Responsibilities

• Handle full-set of accounts for SME clients
• Handle accounts payables functions
• Handle payroll functions
• Handle simple Annual Bookkeeping
• Handle Annual Reporting (i.e. preparation of Unaudited Financial Statements and XBRL)

Preferred Qualifications

• Have outsourcing experience
• Be familiar with Xero/Dext software
• Be bilingual in English and Mandarin/Malay
• Have experience in using accounting-related softwares (eg, Xero, Dext, Talenox etc.)
