Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in Accounting
  • Demonstrates strong initiative, sound judgment, and creativity
  • High-tech industry experience within SaaS
  • Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, with strong multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
  • Able to thrive in an ambiguous environment

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for completeness and accuracy
  • Perform daily cash reconciliations and report on cash activity and other metrics to Accounting and Finance leaders
  • Process accounts payable vendor invoices and appropriately code and enter them into the accounting system
  • Manage new vendor onboarding and be the primary point of contact for our Company’s vendors
  • Evaluate and identify ways to continuously improve the monthly accounting close process through various system and process enhancements
  • Review monthly credit card statements and prepare associated journal entries
  • Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with the business travel and expense policies
  • Assist with the preparation of documentation and support for external financial statement audits and tax compliance
  • Establish and drive business process and financial system improvements that will enable more efficient financial operations and collaboration within the Company
  • Support and help maintain strong internal control policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help with ad-hoc projects as required
