Junior Accountant, Republic of Angola

Summary

The Junior Accountant will assist in preparing financial statements, maintain accurate financial records, and perform financial analyses to ensure compliance with accounting standards while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Proficiency in using the software SAP and Primavera
• Strong knowledge of local fiscal regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and precision in maintaining financial records

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Enter accounting entries and reconcile accounts
• Help with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
• Assist in the analysis of variations and preparation of budget forecasts
• Support senior accountants in preparing taxes and audits
• Contribute to the monthly and year-end closing processes
• Participate in financial audits and inventory counts
• Maintain accurate and precise financial records and documentation
• Assist with financial projects and tasks as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in accounting or finance is preferred
