Requirements

  • Education background: Graduated or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent by experience
  • Attention to detail: Have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in financial administration and reporting
  • Teamwork in team context: Be able to effectively work in a team and contribute to a cooperative working environment
  • Ability to handle pressure: Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines effectively
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a dynamic working environment
  • Strong skill in financial software and tools, including Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
  • Fluent in Dutch and good knowledge of English, both written and spoken; any other language is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accurately and timely booking of invoices and bank statements
  • Manage accounts, including working the administration of creditor and debtor accounts and performing reconciliations to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare financial reports, assisting in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports in accordance with legal and business guidelines
  • Monthly/Annual closures: Work together with senior accountants to prepare monthly/yearly closures, including journal entries, provisions, depreciations, and amortizations
  • Bookkeeping projects: Provide support for various bookkeeping projects and initiatives as needed
