Remote Junior Application Support Engineer

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Ideally 6 months of experience providing IT support
• Experience with XML, MySQL (Queries)
• Overall exposure to programming even from university projects
• Proficiency in English
• Customer service orientation
• Fulfilled military obligations for male candidates

Responsibilities

• Provide second-level support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting customers with complex problems
• Track, route, and redirect issues to the appropriate resources
• Walk customers and First Level Support Engineers through the problem-solving process
• Monitor and report on system performance
• Troubleshoot and escalate software and hardware issues to network, system administrators, DevOps, DBAdmins or developers
• Ensure proper documentation and closure of all support requests
• Availability to work on shifts (night work or public holidays may be required)
• Recommend procedural improvements
• Prepare or review technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the airline and travel domain
• Familiarity with tools like MS TFS/VSTS, JIRA, Kibana, and Grafana
