Summary

Join us as a Junior QA Analyst (f/m/d) at Wunderflats! In this role, you will ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our software by executing test cases and identifying defects. You'll collaborate with your team to maintain testing documentation and processes, continuously learning and improving.

Requirements

  • You have between 6 months and 2 years of experience working in quality assurance, with a passion for manual testing (experience in a start-up setting is a plus)
  • You have a proactive and β€œcan do” attitude and are eager to further develop your career in QA
  • You are familiar with the terms Test cases, Test plans, and Test mobile
  • Experience with technologies such as BDD, Testmo, and Jira
  • Familiarity with Gherkin and Postman is desirable but not mandatory
  • It would be beneficial if you have experience with Cypress, as we will transition to a 50/50 manual and automation setup next year (training will be provided if you are new to it)
  • Teamwork and collaboration come naturally to you and enrich your daily work
  • You are business fluent in English

Responsibilities

  • Learn to record, track, and document defects, working closely with the team to ensure they are resolved effectively
  • Collaborate with teammates to understand the workflow and best practices within QA
  • Learn BDD and Gherkin methodologies to create, maintain, and run scenarios and tests
  • Write and execute test cases to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications across different browsers and platforms
  • Identify, document, and report software defects using designated bug tracking tools, and dig deeper to understand the root cause of issues
  • Work collaboratively to troubleshoot issues, contribute ideas for process improvements, and maintain high standards of software quality
  • Learn to established testing standards, methodologies, and processes while continuously growing as a QA Analyst by learning existing tools, processes, and domain knowledge
