Requirements

  • Up to 1-2 years of experience in SEO or a related digital marketing role
  • Familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and at least one of the following: SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles, including on-page, technical, and keyword research fundamentals
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and good communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • An interest in exploring websites to identify issues and find solutions
  • A commitment to continuous learning and adapting to SEO industry changes
  • Proficiency in Slovenian and English

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development and execution of SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and rankings
  • Conducting basic SEO audits to identify issues (such as broken links or missing metadata) and finding opportunities for on-page optimization
  • Tracking essential SEO performance metrics and highlighting areas for improvement
  • Researching and applying SEO best practices in content creation to enhance keyword relevance and user experience
  • Working closely with our Content, Advertising, Data, and Development teams to ensure alignment across all departments
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm updates
  • Supporting senior team members with regular tasks and larger projects, while learning SEO essentials

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with content management systems (especially WordPress)
  • Interest in expanding digital marketing knowledge, such as PPC or social media
  • Formal training in SEO is a plus
  • Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., German) is an advantage
