Summary

The job is for a Key Account Manager in the London area to lead automotive customer relationships for Aeris' connected vehicle platform. The candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and at least 5 years of automotive connected vehicle experience with OEM or Tier 1 supplier.

Requirements

  • Bachelor / master degree in a business related discipline or engineering, MBA a plus
  • 10+ years' experience, at least 5 years of automotive connected vehicle experience with OEM or Tier 1 supplier
  • Experience with embedded products and hardware, OTA implementations, as-a-Service delivery, LTE, GSM, Wi-Fi, and working with service providers/operators and hardware vendors
  • A passion for excellent customer service
  • A desire to take charge and lead
  • A 'roll up the sleeves' attitude with a startup spirit
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Team player with excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • Willing to travel 50%

Responsibilities

  • Determines drivers' and OEM's needs and desires
  • Understand the competition and other global connected car offerings
  • Crisply identify unique selling points and key value propositions
  • Work directly with OEMs to manage legal issues including contracts
  • Prepares short-term and long-term sales forecasts, reports and analyses
  • Helps manage overall program profitability between Aeris and OEM customers
  • Has strong presentation and speaking skills
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending meet ups, conferences, workshops, staying abreast of innovations, establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
