Summary

Join Kao Consumer Care as a Key Account Manager, responsible for managing strategic customers in the German drugstore and/or food retail sector. You will analyze and create business plans, maximize business potential, and achieve sales and profit goals. This is a full-time, permanent position offering remote work flexibility from anywhere in Germany, with occasional travel to Darmstadt and other locations for client visits. Requirements

  • Business Administration degree or adequate commercial training with corresponding professional experience
  • Several years of professional experience
  • Proven track record in supporting customers from the drugstore and food retail sector in Germany
  • Proven experience in building a strong and profitable business in the drugstore/food retail sector (ideally in the FMCG/cosmetics industry)
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Sound, strategic business acumen
  • Very good leadership qualities
  • Strong analytical and conceptual background
  • Team player with a growth-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the analysis of opportunities and risks and the creation of suitable business and customer plans in line with profit, marketing and brand goals
  • Develop and elaborate strategies to maximize our business with key accounts
  • Develop ideas to drive business and build brands, as well as formulate customer strategies that foster continuous brand growth
  • Collaborate with Category Management to define and implement customer strategy
  • Develop and expand customer relationships
  • Be responsible for driving sales, distribution and share of brands with our customers
  • Create and present regular reports
  • Create and further develop best-practice processes and methods (both internally and externally)
