Lead 3D Artist, Remote - Worldwide

Summary

Seedify Meta Studios is seeking a creative and collaborative Lead 3D Artist with at least 6 years of experience to guide an artists team for their upcoming Metaverse project 'Seedworld' on Unreal Engine 5.2+. The position is 100% remote.

Requirements

• At least 6 years experience as a lead 3D Artist (stylized and realistic)
• An excellent knowledge of how we develop a game, the constraints, and the interactions between all the trades of the production
• Strong knowledge of current 3D software (Maya or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of Substance painter and Substance designer
• Strong Knowledge of Unreal Engine
• Good communication skills and art appraisal
• A good team spirit and proactive
• A great art perception
• Professional English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Managing, rallying and developing a 3D artists team
• Overseeing and organizing the art production to meet the requirements in terms of quality while respecting technical, time, and budget constraints
• Building up the art direction for the project by working closely with the Art Director and the Technical Artist
• Participating with the Lead Developers and the Technical Artist in the development of the pipeline and the tools needed to complete successfully the art production
• Creating 3D assets (Props, Environments, Textures…)
• Optimize 3D asset production pipeline
