Join Envato's Analytics and Research team as a Lead Ops Analyst! This 12-month fixed-term contract role requires 7+ years of experience in operations analytics or a related field. You will design and maintain reporting frameworks, partner with various teams, conduct deep-dive analyses, and communicate insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong SQL and data visualization skills, experience with cloud-based data platforms, and excellent stakeholder management abilities. Requirements

  • You have 7+ years of experience in operations analytics, business intelligence, or a related field
  • Strong SQL and data visualisation skills (e.g. Tableau), with DBT Cloud highly regarded
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or AWS Redshift
  • Strong understanding of business operations and key performance metrics
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels
  • Highly autonomous, outcome-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to drive business impact through analytics in a high-growth environment
  • Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to align analytics to business outcomes
  • Experience coaching analysts and fostering a data-driven culture
  • Experience implementing or improving analytics best practices and documentation

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable reporting frameworks and dashboards for key operational metrics
  • Partner with teams across Envato to align operational analytics with business objectives
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify efficiencies and areas for improvement
  • Effectively communicate insights to stakeholders to drive business impact
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partner areas and senior leadership
  • Balance short-term needs with long-term strategic goals when prioritising work
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to ensure well-structured, scalable data models
  • Liaise with Data Engineering to define and advocate for new data requirements
  • Promote analytics best practices and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making
  • Stay ahead of AI-driven advancements to enhance reporting, analytics, automation, and insights
