Summary

Join Alignable, the largest online network for small business owners, as their Lead Product Manager. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with significant PLG company experience
  • You've built products where user experience drives growth, activation, and retention
  • Consumer-grade UX mindset: Deep understanding of how to create engaging, intuitive experiences that users love, even in B2B contexts
  • Proven track record with high-volume user bases: Experience managing products with thousands of weekly new users and understanding how to optimize experiences at scale
  • Exceptional at Product-Marketing collaboration: Demonstrated success working closely with Growth Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, or similar functions on shared metrics and initiatives
  • Funnel expertise: Understanding of how product decisions impact conversion, activation, and retention across the entire user journey
  • Conflict resolution and alignment skills: Ability to navigate competing priorities and build consensus across product, marketing, and engineering teams
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and eagerness to try new things and be innovative
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers
  • Customer obsession: You crave talking to customers to understand their challenges and bring their voice into your decisions
  • Comfortable manipulating and analyzing data to make informed product decisions, particularly around user behavior and retention
  • Empathy for small business owners: Understanding of and compassion for the struggles of owning a small business
  • A bias for action, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, and deep sense of personal ownership
  • Proven track record managing stakeholders and competing priorities while maintaining team focus on key metrics

Responsibilities

  • Drive member-focused thinking across an entire product pillar
  • Be the product lead on a cross-functional squad that includes UX, Engineering, and a dedicated Growth Marketer
  • Own the product experience
  • Build tech-enabled products that create best-in-class social referral and networking experiences for small businesses, with a particular focus on driving 40-day retention of paid users
  • Own product experiences that drive retention and engagement
  • Collaborate with your Growth Marketing partner to select target OKRs and work with Engineering, Design, and Growth Marketing to identify and prioritize initiatives that improve long-term user value and stickiness
  • Work in a true product-led growth model, generating and testing hypotheses about user behavior, balancing qualitative and quantitative data with your product intuition
  • Deliver value quickly through iterative releases, track impact on both activation and retention metrics, and adjust based on what you learn about user engagement patterns
  • Work hand-in-hand with a dedicated Growth Marketer on shared funnel optimization, conversion experiences, and retention strategies
